pdfEditor provides a suite of PDF utility tools (merging, splitting, rotating, compressing, reordering, adding watermarks, and adding page numbers) running entirely client-side.
- Free License: We grant you a free, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, educational, or commercial purposes.
- No Sign-up: You do not need to register, create an account, or disclose an email address to use the tools.
- No Limits: There are no daily usage limits, page limitations, file size limits, or watermark insertions on generated outputs.
3. Document Ownership and Intellectual Property
Your documents belong to you. We do not claim any ownership rights over the text, images, pages, or general files you import into the Service.
- No Server Processing: Because your files are parsed and output entirely in your browser window, we never see, receive, or store your documents.
- Website Content: The design, layout, source code, graphics, and logos of the Service are the exclusive property of pdfEditor and its parent project freeblankspace.info, protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
4. Prohibited Uses
When using the Service, you agree that you will not:
- Attempt to inject malicious scripts, exploit vulnerabilities, or distribute malware through files imported into the editor.
- Scrape or hotlink our site files in a way that generates excessive automated server traffic.
- Use the tools for any illegal, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities that violate local or international laws.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties (As-Is)
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
- We do not guarantee that the tools will work flawlessly on every single PDF format, standard, or structure, particularly encrypted or legacy PDFs.
- We make no warranty that the Service will meet your specific business requirements, run without interruption, or be compatible with all device browsers.
- All file operations run using local browser RAM. Memory crashes, tab crashes, or data losses resulting from processing very large files are a product of browser limitations, and we assume no liability for lost documents.
6. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PDFEDITOR, ITS DEVELOPERS, OR FREEBLANKSPACE.INFO BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
